Clay + Mamie Maternity Session

In March, we ventured to Edisto Island on the coast of South Carolina with two of our couple friends for a brief beach getaway. It ended up being too cold for swimming or getting some sun, but it was relaxing and fun to get a way for a bit. One of the highlights of our weekend was the opportunity to do a maternity session for our beautiful friends.

Clay and Mamie are two of our best friends, and we jumped at the opportunity to have a photo session with them. This was an especially exciting time with the anticipation of the arrival of their first baby boy. As the sun was setting, we were able to capture some beautiful shots. We think having photos done of the soon-to-be mom and dad before the arrival of baby Astor was so special and intimate. Clay and Mamie are stunning, and the love they share is so evident not only in these photos, but in their daily lives.
